Airport CEO Alpha 0.22.X released

I noticed a great improvement in FPS, almost doubling the amount! So really thanks for this improvement.

I was playing for like half an hour and at some point I just couldn’t click items anymore that have a pop-up screen; check-in desks, security, baggage bay/reclaim, people, staff, etc. I could still build and use the menu buttons. Saving and reloading solved the issue, but I haven’t had time to try and recreate it. Do more people have encountered this?

I have had that before in an earlier build, but it seems to have been resolved a while back. It happened in the specific scenario of me clicking on a bag that didn’t make its flight because the ramp agents didn’t put it on the truck. (This in itself I don’t think can happen anymore because the bug of ramp agents not loading everything has been fixed too).

Usually that is due to an error being thrown. If you press escape and it still doesn’t work check F9 or output log and share with us. :slight_smile:

Doesn’t seem to be resolved, as I encountered it in both sessions I played with the latest update. Unfortunately I only read Fredrik’s post just now, if it happens again I will report, as he proposed.

However, I also had to finish both playing sessions due to the game freezing completely. Unfortunately I can’t remember what I did the first time, but the second time, I was reorganizing my terminal, trying to delete a huge part of my secure zone. This never happened to me prior to 0.22.3.7.

Edit: Froze again, after a while Windows told me, game wasn’t reacting anymore. This time I didn’t do anything. I had just unpaused the game and was waiting for some construction to be finished.

sorry Olof, unable to replicate the problem. I was building a baggage belt, when i pressed pause (space bar) the mouse cursor moved freely but the green square indicating the position of the soon-to-be-placed belt section remained frozen on the screen. The mouse click buttons did not work. When I unparsed the game it returned to normal again.

Do you have the output_log file located? Would it be possible to send it in together with the airport save so that we can verify this?

Any one experiencing hang in the 22.3.7 build?

According to the above statements there seems to be an issue with this, yes. Did you experience it? What happened?

Yes! I am facing the the hang issue first time. After I updated to 22.3.7 I am facing this issue. Till then there was no problem. I could not pinpoint the exact incident. I think when I was trying to zoom and or pointing an object (employee/passenger). Let me try to find out when exactly it happens.

I found a bug on 22.3.7. So I was bored and I was checking whose bags are where. And then I see this:

This is an arrival passenger but it shows that his bag is on airplane. And 10 seconds later, game gave error that this passenger didn’t get his bags.

Looks like that passenger’s bag has not been successfully offloaded from the aircraft. Can you see if there’s been a service truck processing the stand for baggage unloading?

All systems were functional and everything went normal. Even aircraft pushed back half an hour early.

EDIT: Game just crashed.

There’s an issue with the new threading solution that we need some data on, can you provide us with an output_log file and the save in which the world crashed? Send it directly to support@apoapsisstudios.com if possible! :slight_smile:

Well I played more than 1 hour after crash but nothing has happened. Unfortunalety I wouldn’t be helpful :frowning:

But beside this CTD and arrival baggage issue, I haven’t seen any other problems.

The output_log could still be useful. We’d want to transition the experimental one to default today but since we have this random crash issue that’s not possible. :confused:

I noticed a problem with the unloading bags numbers.
When a plane arrive at the stand the total unloading bags will start at 0 and then increase over time.
