Having signed a contract for a business room the contract terminates once the target number of sales have been reached. Could an implementation be that the bonus payment will be received after target sales reached but the contract then runs to full time term. This is more “real world like” and would be a halfway step to unlimited contracts perhaps.

Fully fulfilled contracts should auto extend, maybe make non filled contracts not extended?

What if we had semi-temporary if a shop doesn’t meet X amount of sales or doesn’t have X amount of something they terminate they contract otherwise they auto continue till we cancel or agree to dissolve the contract after X days or weeks.
Another option would be that not to have sale targets and just have minimums which if we don’t meet they terminate their contract but we defiantly need longer contract periods.
