I know the feeling of long shifts work 12.5 but only do like 3-4 shifts a week but work both days and nights
It’s not as bad as it sounds. The only thing is that I’m free when everybody is working and I’m working when everybody is free. But you get used to it.

I work 8 hours + go to school with homeworks

Yes there are three referendums in a year.
There are mostly two or three themes or people’s initiative you can vote for.

My work life is somehow better than my college life.
On normal days I’d taken 8 hours including commute time. On crunch days (preparing biweeky group presentation or before midterms and/or finals), I could push 7 to 11 for several days in a row. Not including Saturdays (always one class on Saturdays) and Sundays (continuing group project on friend’s house)
