It looks very interesting but the fuel savings is disappointing to me, just 20% for an entirely new shape of aircraft that would require a radically different production process and production facilities. Besides, KLM is a lovely company, but not an aircraft builder. Either KLM would have to outsource production knowledge at an immense cost, or Boeing/Airbus would have to produce an aircraft that would be a direct competitor to their line of aircrafts.
