Modifying outside roads?

Sorry I’m not sure if the question should be in this category (but definitely not in support LOL).

I’m wondering if it is possible to modify the outside road to make to wider so that it bears heavier traffic. The current two-lane road is pretty overwhelmed by the traffic load and my passengers are having trouble waiting for their bus/car/taxi.

We will get more entrances somewhere in the future.

For now, you can choose to develop the other way around, less stops and more subways.
