Road Tunnels

Feature request title:

Road tunnels

Tunnels for road traffic, both normal and service, to allow passing underneath runways, foundations etc.

Why it should be implemented:

Road tunnels are a common feature found around most airports I’ve visited. It allows for a more free flowing of traffic around the airport from one side to another without having to go the LONG way around.

Yes, yes, YES!

Great request @Rubble

I know we have both discussed this idea before with our designs. It would allow airport buildings to be entirely circled by taxi ways, with road access for cars/busses passing through tunnels to the buildings.

Example: London Luton Airport (LTN), UK

That will solve many of my problems!
