Passengers using wrong zone

I want to make the different shaded parts of my airport in the images separate; people will go into security for the small gates and not have a way into the medium-size gates (by design). how do I convince the pathfinding engine that they can’t do this?

What does the zone overlay say, how many secure zones do you have?

when i get home i’ll add the photos, my short term fix was to put an elevator between the areas but i’ll get the screenshots soon
