Resizing Rooms
Description:
Rooms should be able to be adjusted in size after creation. They should have options to work like secure areas, with the automatic addition of adjacent tiles when selected. Area could also be subtracted from the room without destroying the room itself.
Why it should be implemented:
As an airport expands, so should the rooms and facilities in it. Facilities like staff rooms, bathrooms, baggage claims and shops are currently static, unable to be changed without a complete and disruptive overhaul. This change would allow for a much easier expansion process and the creation of differently shaped rooms. An L-shaped room with two entrances could be built for example.
