I think it would be good if we could choose to offer the baggage handling system (and maybe future services as well) only to certain flights. I think it is a little bit pointless (and dumb too) to have resources (ramp agents, services trucks) spent on a flight that only carries two suitcases.
Or maybe it would be good if the handling services are only requested by flights with more than a certain amount of baggage carried, like at least ten.

That wouldn’t be realistic - because there are indeed flights carrying only a few pieces of checked luggage.
However, I like your idea about selective services, because not every airline refuels its aircraft after each flight. So it would be nice to see some aircraft refueling, some don’t. Some getting the catering, and some not.
