This is more of a question that an operations idea but I feel like it should be in this thread. Why is the operational cost of concrete tiles double that of taxiway foundations? I would think that the operational cost of the taxiway would be greater because of the planes degrading the surface over time. Concrete tiles have no traffic on them so one would assume that the operational cost would be less.

This has not been changed. Odd, considering that a full 800 meter Runway costs only $2/hour. $10/hr for a decorative Concrete Tile is unbalanced. It should be $0/hr
